Jason Slocum

Jason Slocum began his career in the hospitality industry 12 years ago as the executive sous chef of Troon North. During his four year tenure, Slocum cultivated his management skills of a large kitchen and dining establishment before moving into the position of Bar Manager for Woody’s, a former sports venue hot spot. Slocum gained notoriety for being a successful bar managers and continued to further his career in the food and beverage industry. McDuffy’s Bar and Grill offered Slocum a position where they hoped he could build a dynamic team and help develop the business. He continued to hone his skills and in 2005 Evening Entertainment Group brought Slocum on board to open a new lounge concept they were about to launch. Slocum assisted in the grand opening and ran a tight bar operation catapulting Suede into great success. Suede remained at the top in an ultra competitive nightclub market and Slocum accrued a large following of loyal patrons.

With a solid background behind him Slocum set his sights on opening his own venture with partner Robert Burghart. Together the two concepted their first venture, Lyte, a dining and nightlife destination. Slocum grew up in the Valley and is a Paradise Valley High School Alumni and has a Bachelor of Arts degree.
